a late wishlist wednesday post

I haven't been browsing J.Crew's website quite as religiously as I used too. I was working at Crewcuts on a slow Saturday and my friend was showing me a dress on J.Crew's sale section. I hadn't browsed it in so long that there was NEW stuff in the sale section that I've never seen before. Surprise surpise, all 5 items this week come from J.Crew.

1) these gladiator sandals in the dark brown (sold out online already! There's pictures in the current catalog)


2) Emilie Leather Mocs


3) Bisbee Satchel



4) Grey checkered shirt


5) tiffany blue jackie cardi, there's a vintage zebra print cardi in the catalog that is also sold out online. If I wasn't on a ban, that sucker would be sitting in my closet.

Wishlist Wednesday

I haven't done one of these in a while. Here's what is on my mind:

1) Love this giant tote. Not that I need another bag! Bag is made by Dirkab on Etsy


2) Branch bobby pin by Woodland Belle


3) These terrariums. I'm not quite sure where they are from, I just bookmarked the image and not the website.


4) Polaroid camera necklace. One of these days, I'll do a post on all the polaroids that I have. Too bad they stopped making film because all of them are still functional!


5) This lovely mini to-do list chalkboard. I always have such lofty goals to become organized and it never happens. Maybe this is my final push?

wishlist wednesday...surprisingly yellow themed

1) TEA SUBMARINE (can you tell how excited I am about this?) I don't drink tea on a regular basis but if I had this (along with a clear mug) I would be drinking it everyday. How fun :)



2) I love screened prints like this. I'm also a sucker for any sort of map.


3) yellow converse!! When my purple ones wear out, yellow ones are going to be next!


4) This J.Crew tank....which I must confess that I did buy even though I wasn't going to buy any clothes for the entire year....it only came to $26 after my discount. I'll donate 2 shirts that I don't wear to balance it out.

5) Marc by Marc Jacobs bag. I was SO close to getting this when I was in NYC last November but I got talked out of it. It would have been quite the souvenir from the trip.

wishlist wednesday

Even though technically it's not Wednesday in Seattle, I'm going to post my wishlist anyway. It is seriously getting hard to come up with 5 new things that I want every week. I might end up just doing it once a month. I feel kinda bad about wanting this many new things EVERY week.

1) This AMAZING COOKIE JAR from Anthro. Remember how I said I was going to get the Fuji Instax as a gift to myself for my birthday? I think I am changing my answer to this cookie jar.


2) Elizabeth and James Knuckle Ring. I used to have rings that I wore everyday...until I left them in the school bathroom when I took it off to wash my hands. They weren't there when I came back 30 mins later to look for them. Ever since that day, I've never wore rings again. I may start again if I can find some unique ones that I really like. This one is fairly big but I love it.


3) Martha Stewart Cake Stand...from back in 2004. My only hope is ebay to find them. There is even a pink one!


4) A good sharp knife, mine has gotten so dull :(

5) A cute passport holder

Wishlist Wednesday

It's harder and harder to come up with 5 things that I want. I'm staying away from anything clothing related becase I'm going to try this year to not buy any pieces of clothing. Unless something I own desperately needs replacing, I'm going to shop in my closet. My closet is always a mess and I have a small pile of things that still have tags on them. I truly don't need anything clothing wise.

I saw it in a store in Ballard and it looks nice framed. I need more "art" to hang on my wall.

2) Lowel Ego Light

I keep reading about this light on other food blogs. Just looking at before/after pictures, it seems to make a huge difference.
